FAQ

The stuff you should know before sending any coins.

Do you hold my coins?

No. You send to the deposit address created by the provider you chose. That provider sends the other coin to your wallet.

Where do the offers come from?

Quotes and order creation use CypherGoat as the backend. It connects this site to the exchange providers shown in the offer list.

Do I need an account or a connected wallet?

No. You can send from any wallet after the order is created.

Can a provider ask for KYC?

Yes. The score is a guide, not a promise. A provider can still pause an order and ask for information.

What do KYC scores 0, 1, and 2 mean?

The filter sets the highest risk level you are willing to see. A lower score means a lower reported chance of an identity check, not a guarantee.

0 Almost no risk

The exchange uses its own liquidity. CypherGoat describes these routes as having almost no risk of a KYC request.

1 Some risk

The provider may ask for identity information depending on the transaction and its own checks.

2 Higher risk

A KYC request is more likely than on score-0 or score-1 routes. Use this setting only if you accept that possibility.

These scores come from the swap backend. The exchange provider makes the final decision and can still request KYC at any score.

What if an order is stuck?

Open Track order and paste the order ID. If it does not move, email sam@samsam.lol with the order ID. Never email a seed phrase or private key.

Can support reverse a transfer?

Usually not. Crypto transfers cannot normally be cancelled. Check the coin, network, address, memo, and amount before sending.
